The Grounds Department prides itself on keeping out of sight during your golf round. We begin our day as early as 4:00 A.M. to complete the majority of the daily maintenance on the course before you hit your first tee shot. We hope you hardly ever see us on the course so you can enjoy your round of golf without interruption by our Grounds Team. So what's the problem? Well, since we are always trying to avoid interrupting your golf game, we also end up avoiding you. We realize the need to communicate with our players to explain why we do the things we do. The short answer to why we do anything is to make your golf course better for you but we want to provide you with details on all our activities so you understand exactly why something is done. So the next time you want to ask, "Why do we have to wait for the frost to burn off?" or "Why are carts grounded? or "Why the heck are they aerifying today?", you can view our blog and get the answers.
